About Megan

Whether your child needs support with everyday Maths, is preparing for the 11+ or wants to feel more confident before their SATs, I provide personalised lessons designed around their individual needs.

I’m a qualified primary school teacher with experience teaching and tutoring children in Years 3–6. Every lesson is personalised to your child’s needs, helping them build confidence, close learning gaps and enjoy learning again. I understand the primary Maths curriculum and know how to explain concepts in clear, simple ways that help children develop lasting understanding.

My goal is not simply to teach children how to answer today’s questions but to give them the confidence and problem-solving skills they need for future success.

Many children believe they “aren’t good at Maths.” I work hard to change that mindset by breaking learning into manageable steps, celebrating progress and helping children understand why methods work. As their confidence grows, they become more willing to tackle challenging questions independently.

About the lesson

Every lesson is engaging, supportive and carefully planned to match your child’s current ability and learning goals. I use practical strategies, visual models and plenty of opportunities for guided practice to ensure children develop both fluency and deep mathematical understanding.

Whether your child is preparing for the 11+, working towards SATs or simply needs ongoing support throughout the school year, I would be delighted to help them develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed.
