About Phoebe
I've always loved learning and, more importantly, sharing that enthusiasm with others. Having studied Physics to degree level and now continuing my studies through a Master's degree, I'm still fascinated by the world around us and all the ways science and maths help us understand it.
One of the things I enjoy most about teaching is helping students discover that subjects like Physics and Maths don't have to be intimidating or just a series of equations to memorise. There's so much more to them, and finding those moments where a difficult concept finally clicks, or a student discovers something that genuinely interests them, is one of the most rewarding parts of teaching.
As a qualified teacher currently working in the classroom, I understand that every student learns differently. I aim to create a relaxed, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and building their confidence, whether they're working towards an exam or simply looking to deepen their understanding.

I offer personalised Physics and Maths tuition from GCSE to A-level, tailored to each student's needs, goals and learning style. As a qualified teacher with a First Class degree in Physics and four years of private tutoring experience, I have supported students of a wide range of abilities, helping them build confidence, develop their understanding and achieve the highest grades attainable to them.
Lessons focus on developing a strong understanding of the subject, alongside the problem-solving skills and exam techniques needed to succeed. Whether you're looking to tackle challenging topics, improve your confidence or push towards the highest grades, sessions are designed to be engaging, supportive and suited to your individual goals.
Lessons are available online at no additional cost or in students' homes, with an additional travel fee for longer distances.
