About Zainab

Hi! I'm a qualified secondary Computer Science teacher with a BSc in Computer Science and a PGCE with QTS. I currently teach Computer Science across a range of year groups, including GCSE and A-Level, and have a real passion for both technology and education.

I've always enjoyed working with young people and helping them develop their confidence and abilities. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching for me is seeing a student go from struggling with a concept to finally understanding it.

I know Computer Science can seem challenging at times, especially when it comes to programming, but I believe that with the right support and explanations, anyone can make progress. I aim to make learning approachable, enjoyable and rewarding, while helping students achieve their academic goals.

About the lesson

I'm a qualified secondary Computer Science teacher with a BSc in Computer Science and a PGCE with QTS. Through my classroom teaching experience, I've developed an understanding of how to make challenging topics easier to grasp and adapt my teaching to suit different abilities.

My lessons are tailored to each student's needs, whether that's building confidence in a particular topic, improving programming skills or preparing for exams. I focus on breaking down complex concepts into simple steps, using clear explanations, practical examples and plenty of opportunities to practise.

I offer online lessons, typically lasting 60 minutes, for KS3, GCSE and A-Level Computer Science students. I can help with topics such as Python programming, algorithms, computer systems, cybersecurity and exam techniques.

My aim is to create a relaxed, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and developing their understanding at their own pace.
