About Clodagh

Haigh a chairde!
I have spoken Irish since the age of 12 having been completely immersed in the language through Gaelscoil education.
After achieving a H1 in my own Leaving Certificate I decided to go on and pursue a career in teaching Irish and sharing my passion for the language.
I have also spent time in different Gaeltacht regions in Ireland, strengthening my own understanding of the language.
If I had to give a piece of advice to someone learning Irish I would say ‘Is fearr Gaeilge briste ná Béarla cliste!’ And that it’s never too late to start learning/improving your Irish.
As well as Irish I am also a French teacher and I offer extra tutoring for Junior Cycle and Leaving Cert exams.

About the lesson

•All levels of Irish are welcome from complete beginners to junior cert/leaving cert students and beyond, anyone wanting to improve their Irish and French.

•Lessons will be an hour long and held on Google Meet.

•The lessons will be personalised to cater for the needs of each individual student

•H1 standard notes will be provided as well as mock orals etc.

•All aspects covered from building vocabulary to pronunciation to grammar etc.
