About Ashley
I am a qualified secondary teacher with five years of classroom experience, currently teaching in the Catholic education sector in Melbourne. I am passionate about helping students build confidence, develop strong study habits and achieve their academic goals. Through my work with Cultūra Nexus, I provide personalized and culturally responsive support tailored to each learner. I also mentor pre service teachers and coordinate Japanese at the Victorian School of Languages, which strengthens my ability to support a wide range of students effectively.

My lessons are structured, engaging and tailored to each student’s needs, aligned with the Victorian Curriculum and VCE study designs. I use clear explanations, scaffolded practice and real exam style questions to build understanding and confidence. Sessions typically run for 60 minutes and focus on both content mastery and exam skills. I support students across Years 7 to 12, including VCE, and adapt my teaching to suit different learning styles, helping students improve results while developing independence and critical thinking skills.
