About Corentin

I have been teaching Japanese for two years, since I returned to live in Pau. I have several regular students each week. Those who wanted it have already been able to submit jlpt 5 and we are currently working on the preparation of jlpt4. I have created a lot of material I also insist on the translation, theme and version, because it is with this exercise that progress is best (oral situation aside).

About the lesson

Passionate about Japanese culture since my childhood I chose to learn this language and I am now holder of a Japanese license obtained in 2010. Since then I have multiplied trips to Japan (both private and professional). I was also in charge of inter-university exchanges between France and Japan (University of Toulouse II and Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto). I know this language and culture well. After 6 years spent abroad as a teacher of French as a foreign language, I became a self-employed entrepreneur when I returned to France this spring. Having learned Japanese myself, I know the difficulties involved in learning and can help you progress quickly. In addition my experience as a French teacher for foreigners is an asset because I master the teaching techniques. Regarding the course, I work with a Japanese textbook (minna no nihongo) that I chose for its quality. It is not necessarily easy because integrally in Japanese but I myself learned with (in addition to the university) and my students are all satisfied. I also use Edmodo which is a special support for classes. On top I create vocabulary cards, exercises and more generally a follow-up of the course with personalized notes to help you during your learning. Possibility of beginner or intermediate courses. Details

During the first class, I ask a deposit of 50 €. This deposit is supposed to guarantee me a real interest for the language. Indeed, from the first class with me I give you access to many resources on the internet and usb key and I expect learners a sustainable commitment. At the end of the 10th class, I return the deposit in full. In addition the rate may be slightly increased if you live more than 5km from home.
