About Janice
I live in Devon with my husband and dog Bryn. I teach at a special school where I do a lot of outdoor education which I love. I like walking on the beach and moors and riding my bike. I enjoy tutoring especially maths as I love to see the progress my pupils can make with the right help.

I am a qualified teacher with over 30 years of experience. I am very experienced with pupils with SEN. I am a SENCO and specialist dyslexia teacher. I teach maths to GCSE Level. My aim would be to find what you are struggling with and fill the gaps in your knowledge so that you can feel confident in maths. I usually teach for an hour and try to fit a few different topics to add variety. Some of the session will be revising previous lessons to ensure understanding. I will always adapt the lesson to the needs of the pupil - age, level of understanding, concentration levels etc.
