About Ren

Hi, my name is Ren!
I am a high school student in Cranston. My journey playing piano started since 4 years old in Singapore, and I’ve been continuing playing piano til today. Holding almost 11 years of piano experience, I am currently working towards graduating my grade 8 Royal Conservatory Technical and Theory Exam this year.

I’ve been taking professional vocal lessons since 7 years old and have engaged in playing lead roles throughout all my past junior high years. Last year, I was my school’s fine arts recipient for instrumental band, fine and visual arts, and theatrical music. As a Filipina, the entirety of my family is able to sing and I’ve grown up singing Whitney Houston karaoke at every family gathering.

About the lesson

LESSONS $18/30 minutes

— Would not recommend anything more than 45 minutes for children due to low attention span.
— I will recommend books to purchase for PIANO students.
— If you would not like to commit to purchasing a full book just yet, I can easily supply your child with printed out copies. I have a large repertoire to choose from.
— Will always be playing a classical piece, but “fun” pieces can be played regularly too!
— If a student wants to play a particular piece that may not have a written score, or is too challenging, I will take time out of my day to create a version of the score myself.
—VOICE students have access to professional recording microphones and regularly practice the use of hand-held microphones.

For children, I recommend no more than 45 minutes per session. Per 30 minutes, I charge $18.
