About Jaro

I’m an English tutor with 5 years of experience and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Cultural Studies. I design lessons that are dynamic, relevant, and grounded in the real world. By using news analysis, documentaries, and journalistic ethics, I help students engage with English through meaningful content. My approach focuses on exploring current events, understanding media bias, and developing critical thinking. We don’t just study language—we use it to form and express informed opinions. Whether we’re discussing global headlines or writing opinion pieces, my goal is to make English both practical and thought-provoking. I work especially well with politically aware learners, aspiring journalists, and anyone interested in global issues. Lessons are tailored to spark curiosity and encourage active conversation. We work on skills like persuasive writing, reading between the lines, and debating respectfully. I believe English is more than a school subject—it’s a way to connect with the world. Every student brings a unique voice, and I’m here to help shape and strengthen it. Let’s use English to explore, question, and understand the world more deeply.

About the lesson

My teaching approach focuses on making English feel natural, especially when talking about money and everyday financial situations. I help students build the vocabulary they need for personal finance, budgeting, banking, and even simple investment conversations. Lessons are relaxed and practical, built around real-life examples you can use right away.

We practice conversations like asking about bank fees, setting a budget, or discussing payment plans. You’ll gain the confidence to speak clearly in situations like opening an account or managing travel expenses. I support learners who enjoy casual conversation and want to feel at ease while handling financial tasks in English.

My method is friendly and supportive, with plenty of room for questions and repetition. We focus on listening and speaking skills so you feel prepared for real-world situations. I help you move beyond textbook phrases into everyday English that actually works. You’ll also learn polite, clear ways to ask about money across different cultures.

With time and practice, your confidence will grow. Let’s make English feel effortless—especially when it comes to money matters.
