About Lea
My name is Lea Gilbertson. I am from Italy, where I graduated from the University of Turin (Piedmont). My major was Italian language and literature.
In Italy I taught high school for 14 years and middle school for 3 years, teaching Italian and European literature, grammar, World history and geography.
My passion is Humanities and Social Studies.
I like to teach, making sure the person in front of me assimilate the data and enhance his/her ability through the application of them and succeed in his/her job and life.
I love to engage the students in new projects.

To keep things real and useful, I base lesson content on the student's skill level and needs: conversation, negotiation, grammar, literature, art and technical subjects. My students are involved in a diverse range of industries and professions, from fashion to finance and engineering to entertainment.
A lesson is structured around a particular aspect of Italian grammar, vocabulary, usage and pronunciation at right level to match the student's knowledge. The last 15 minutes of each lesson are dedicated to conversational use of grammar and vocabulary that the students have just learned.
My lessons are fun and educative and, most important, my students at the end are happy.
