About Molly
Enthusiastic and driven, I am a tutor who will strive to aid students in presenting the best version of themselves in their personal statement, whilst remaining under the restrictive word count - ensuring they are able to maximise their chances of getting offers from top universities. I am happy to recommend books, articles, podcasts and lectures that will set students apart from others, send summaries, explain ideas and help students with word choices. I am in a uniquely valuable position to offer this insight having completed the UCAS process this year and received offers from a variety of top UK universities.

I am flexible about lesson approach as this is very personal to the student. I am enthusiastic and try and ensure students' interest in their subject is translated into their personal statement. Session length may be 30 minutes, 45 minutes, or an hour. I received all 9s and 8s in my GCSEs, and have just received A*AA in my A Levels (History, Politics, and French). I have tutored family friends before. I am a good fit for anyone wanting help with personal statements for History, Ancient History, Politics, Languages and any other essay-based subjects. I received offers from all 5 of my unis (and will be studying International History and Politics this year). I have helped many of my friends with their personal statements who have received offers from other prestigious universities.
Recommendations

Molly and I were applying for university at the same time. She applied for history and politics and I (a history applicant) was very stuck with where to start, what to include, the phrasing etc.
Molly was kind enough to offer her support which concisted of … recommending me books at an academic level high enough to impress admissions officers. Offering me high level analysis and J store articles. Patiently helping me with tips and phrasing and ensuring I was under the word count. Personal statement writing can be notoriously boring but Molly was great and enthusiastic and really helped put my passion of history in to words.
Her help was crucial in my success in the admissions process - getting offers from Durham, Bristol, Exeter, Nottingham and Oxford. I could not recommend her more highly!View more recommendations
