About Leon
Hello, I am a recent graduate from the University of Bath with a Masters in Engineering. Through my studies I have a strong understanding of Maths and the Sciences, so am very capable to tutor at a GCSE to A-level quality of learning in these subjects.
I am also Bilingual (German and English) so can assist with German Oral exams up to A-level grade and written examinations to a GCSE Level with confidence.
I tend towards a teaching approach which will guide the student at first until they develop the confidence to go at it alone, at which point I would more point out an error and only guide if they are struggling to see the corect answer. However I can tailor my approach as would be appropriate for individual students as well. I would also use a number of Past Papers i the run up to Examinations, as from my experience this is the best way for students to learn what they might expect (and thereby reduce any fear of the exam), as well as understand the often very exact terminology needed for subjects such as Physics and Chemistry.
