About Sam
I am a recent graduate of high school and a current engineering student at the University of British Columbia. I was also the Valedictorian of my high school, having final marks of 99 and 100 percent in math 30-1 and math 31 respectively. I am incredibly passionate about mathematics and aim to pass on at least some of the enjoyment to each person that I tutor.

The key to success in any field of mathematics or science is understanding. As a result of this, I aim to ensure that each of my students leaves lessons not only understanding how to solve problems but also why they are using the process provided and how this process works. With this understanding comes a greatly improved appreciation of mathematics as well as the ability to double-check many questions, leading to reduced mathematical errors.
