About Amparo
I have a degree in Biotechnology, and I am currently carring out my final master project in Regenerative Medicine.
I have great experience in tutoring children ( over a year where I tutores more than 10 different children) and help them to keep up with school homework and examns ( I can be a great help in science and Spanish).
I have worked as costumer service promoter, waitress, secretary and otheres as well, therefore I am used to work and study at the same time.

My main pourpose is for the kids to really understand what they are learning. I am completly againts the memorizing method, is crutial to comprehend in your own way to fully internalize the lesson. I usually, depending on the topic, make the kids talk and explain the lesson in their own words. In subjects like maths, I make sure that they really understand what they are doing and why and then repeat and repeat until is clear.
Apropiated breaks are crutial to make sure that the kid will pay attention. Also I like to have conversations about different topics with the kid so they feel more comfortable with me. I intend to discover their strenghts and weaknesses in order to adapt my methodology for their benefit.
I am a very patient person, vey determined and used to kids that will try to distract me in order to avoid doing things during the class. I am very cheerful and friendly, but I strongly believe that some disciplin is necessary sometimes.
