About Cassandra
I am a Research Scientist and Laboratory Manager. I graduated from Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, ON, Canada in 2016 with my Honours Bachelor of Science, majoring in Applied Biomolecular Science. I then moved on to graduate studies in St. John's, NL, Canada at Memorial University. I completed my Master of Science in Medicine - Cancer and Development in 2019. I have extensive academic and laboratory experience in the fields of: biology, biomedical sciences, cell biology, cancer biology, virology, and aquaculture-relevant pathogens.

My tutoring methods are very flexible. I like to gauge what works best for you, as everyone learns in different ways. I like to be asked specific questions, or to be asked to give a general overview of a topic in advance of the tutoring session. I also appreciate knowing the context of the subject that I am tutoring, including a course syllabus and/or all relevant course materials. As a research scientist, I also enjoy talking about practical applications of science, including techniques and lab reports.
