About Joanna
I am a retired Canadian Senior National Rhythmic Gymnast who was in the top 50 in the 2017 Canadian National Championships. I have placed first in many different competitions during my provincial level competitions and also received the top score in an international competition held in Europe, the Montenegro Cup. Along with my team, I have spent many weeks training in Europe with Russian Olympic Gymnasts.

A typical class would first start with cardio and core work before moving onto flexibility work. Flexibility work would consist of stretching splits and working on back arches carefully. There might be a little pain but it is unavoidable. After that, the student would focus on apparatus skills with an apparatus of their choice. Finally, the class would end with simple stretches. These classes are intended for gymnasts in the recreational, pre-competitive or provincial level looking for a chance to go to a higher level.

Details
If the student wants to work on their routine if they have one, I will do that for the same price, but a suitable gym would need to be found and paid for. The same is for choreography, but there will be a choreography fee based on the level of the gymnast.
