B. Ed from the U of Regina, 25 year classroom teacher, 6 year TOC, 3 year Tutor, Math can be a fun learning experience if done the right way! Coached high school football for 25 years, and coached minor hockey for 25 years, supervisor of the outdoor education club and took students on hiking trips, canoe trips and ski trips. Math for most is a means to an end, but the journey can be taken in several ways. I like to review, relate the math to logical thinking, and have fun and a laugh or two on the journey. My preference is to teach approximately grade 7 to 10 but can go above or below that.
