I have taught younger children and given lectures at the University level. I strongly believe in continuous interaction, keep the students involved, understand what they are learning, what they are not learning, and how I can modify my methods to achieve greater results.
I am an engineer, retired with experience in sales, project management, and I have authored three books and numerous technical papers. I spent most of my career in the nuclear power industry, designing large components for power plants in Canada, the US, and international locations.
Rather than a fixed fee for travel, I would prefer a mileage rate of $0.5 Cdn/km. Short travel distances (eg within Stratford) will be free of charge, but the mileage fee will apply outside of Stratford.
