About CHRISTOPHER
I attended military college directly after high school. After the military I was an optician for a period and thereafter worked for Environment Canada in meteorology and hydrology for over 35 years.
I greatly enjoyed my work particularly in explaining weather conditions to those in need of information. I also had the opportunity to train many new employees, supervise both French and English colleges, though not bilingual. As in the field of opthology it gave me the opportunity to help others.
Guitar has been a life long passion for me. I am self taught and enjoy helping others to get started. Playing stringed instruments has taught me some about music and allowed me to chance to play relatively unknown to me instruments with others in my travels
After retirement I volunteer worked for approximately a year each cooking in a community centre and providing recreational support at a continuing care centre.
My work has taken me into a few different fields. I have been educated and worked at various places in Canada. Over the course of my work I have worked and lived with many different people from across Canada and around the world. That was also educating.
Since retiring and having seen much of Canada I have indulged in international travel with my wife. Our trips have taken us mostly to Europe and Asia.

My experience in meteorology included explaining complex information to a variety of users (public, aviation, forensic etc.) I have supervised both English and French speakers. I would best fit those with little English or beginner guitar. I am very patient.
