About Lisamarie
I , Lisamarie, worked in an inner city school district that is considered one of the largest in the nation. I taught high school students mathematics for 17 years.
Many of my students were at risk for graduating. My teaching methods and approach to Algebra and Geometry worked with the diverse learners I had. I continuously maintained a D and F rate below 10%, and I increased the graduation rate for 17 consecutive years.
I am certified to teach in the state of Arizona receiving a Bachelors Degree in Education with an emphasis in Mathematics.

I am Lisamarie and I create lessons based on students individual learning styles.
A typical lesson plan will start with an explanation of why you need to learn the content, a clearly stated objective, presentation, rigorous practice and formative assessment.
I am different from other tutors because I make math simple. Students must overcome their fear of math first, before they can begin solving for X and I will help do that.
Lessons are for high school Algebra 1-2, 3-4 students as well as Geometry 1-2,3-4.
