About Ed
I attended one of the most prestigious engineering schools in the United States.
About halfway through my engineering career in the Oil and Gas Industry, where I was a design engineer, it became apparent that I had a knack for assisting new graduates to make the transition from university to the workplace.
The last half in North America and overseas I was always assigned junior and intermediate engineers to mentor.

Effective learning is best done by showing practical examples. In mentoring junior engineers I always found this approach to be the most effective as everyone can relate to common real-world examples they have experienced.
This method gets through the "noise" of the equations to easier remember the lesson.
