"Technically speaking, the transition from opera to guitar requires a surprising amount of overlapping focus on dexterity and phrasing. Having earned a Master of Music in Vocal Studies from the Royal Academy of Music, I apply that same academic rigour to teaching acoustic technique and rhythm guitar. I have helped 261 students master everything from simple chord transitions to complex scales and modes. My 10 years of experience have taught me that clear communication is as vital as the music theory itself.
While I spent 2 decades performing professionally as a vocalist, my love for the guitar has been a constant companion in my private life. I find genuine pleasure in helping teens and working professionals demystify the fretboard. Whether we are discussing tuning and maintenance or the intricacies of lead guitar, I maintain a motivating environment.
