About Stephen
I have over 2 decades of experience teaching math to elementary and middle school students. It is of paramount importance to me to set a standard of professionalism and set a level of comfort so that students feel reassured and supported. Math itself can be stressful for many students. I remember the stress I felt when I was younger. As a tutor, I strive to make sure tutoring sessions are fun, engaging, but not stressful.

I am a strong proponent of making math fun and engaging for the student. Game-based math activities are an essential component of my lessons. I also strongly believe that all students have the potential to grasp math skills.
