About JUN
I am a recently graduated Mechanical Engineering seeking to pursue in masters, I have always been passionate about 3D modelling and fascinated in the world of 3D printing. I will be honest, I have not had any professional teaching experience, but throughout my bachelor years I have been guiding my friends or those in need through this particular field and I was praised by numerous academic staffs for my capability in this particular topic. I specialize at using CATIA v5/v6 specifically to perform my 3D modelling.

I strongly believe the importance of practice and interaction with tutors when it comes to learning topics like these (3D modelling) which will require a lot of hands-on work. Particularly in 3D modelling, there are many ways/techniques to perform a certain task and is only limited by your imagination, and I always encourage my peers to think out of the box and challenge themselves to think of multiple ways to carry out the same task.
Here are a simple list of steps to follow through in order to kick start the journey:
1. Understanding the idea behind 3D modelling and its limitations.
2. Familiarize with the common tools and utilities offered by CATIA.
3. Provide simple examples for learners to get a hang of things.
4. Going through more advanced tools as the class progresses.
4. Depending on progress, gradually increasing the difficulty of each sample drawings.
