About Karina

I have my own practice based in an 18th Century barn on a farm in Princes Risborough. I produce woven and knitted pieces for Interiors. I also have a business called Black Swans Studio which I run with my business partner, we deliver textile craft workshops in a number of disciplines.

About the lesson

My teaching is research based and encourages the gathering of primary source material which is analysed through drawing and then extracted into a textile language using a variety of techniques. My teaching style is calm and supportive. Lessons are 30 minutes long and all levels are taught. I have 12 years experience teaching at degree level and take students on MA, Degree, Foundation, A Level and GCSE
