About Jasmine

I graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music in 2024 with First Class Honours in Saxophone Performance and have been teaching for six years. I’ve worked with a wide range of students—both privately and through Staves Professional Music Tuition—guiding complete beginners as well as advanced players. Alongside teaching, I’m an active professional saxophonist and composer, performing across the UK in venues such as the Royal Albert Hall and Band on the Wall.

About the lesson

I’m happy to teach students of all levels, from complete beginners to experienced players. I enjoy teaching both classical and jazz styles, and I can also accompany students on piano when needed. Lessons are available in 30-minute or one-hour sessions, either in person or via Zoom—though I generally prefer in-person teaching for the best learning experience.

Review

All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to a real experience lived by the teacher's students.

Perfect! First saxophone lesson with jasmine; I was really impressed by her teaching style, patience and knowledge. Particularly the way she would build on her points and show me, rather than bombard me with lots of information. 10/10 recommend. Looking forward to my next lesson! Thanks again! :)

Perfect! Jasmine was friendly and patient throughout the lesson and provided me with very clear and considered guidance and tips from the offset, which gave me a better understanding of where I was going wrong and how to go about correcting those mistakes.
I would absolutely recommend Jasmine to anybody looking for a tutor without hesitation and am very much looking forward to our next lesson

Jasmine is a lovely teacher, very calm and patient but highly skilled and knowledgeable and a fantastic player herself. She teaches at an appropriate pace for the student and always supports you to try pieces that you choose whilst ensuring they are at the right level for your ability.
