About Yana

I am a friendly, university-educated Russian and German teacher with more than 13 years of experience teaching languages to students from USA, Canada, Great Britain, Italy, Greece, Australia and 4 years experience in translation field (projects for Google AdSense, Nokia, Skype).
I am a Russian native speaker with philological Master's degree in German and English. In University I defended a thesis "Russian Linguistics for foreign speakers", "Russian dialects in West and North part of country" and "German dialects in Germany, Austria and Switzerland". Nowadays, I live in Ukraine teaching Russian and German via Skype to students from all over the world.

About the lesson

My professional focus is on improving communication skills using fast-track and immersion techniques. The pace of my training is intensive and dynamic with focus on developing grammar, vocabulary, fluency and how to use the language in authentic situations

I select a training program individually for every student depending on their level, interests, and goals.

I recommend Yana as Russian tutor to anyone who wants to learn russian with really professional teacher and in pleasant atmosphere! Yana is also nice and easy-going person, she can adopt lesson plan and materials to your goals and wishes. I am a lawyer and to be able to speak with my potential russian clients I started to study business Russian with her (the basic knowledges of language I had before). But even for such serious study (law area) she tried to create interesting topics and exercises for developing my speaking skills. I am very glad that I have found such teacher like Yana!

Yana is a really good tutor! I`ve only had her for just over a month and already my Russian has really improved, more than it has in over a year of studying at university. Each lesson she introduces a new topic in a well-planned way with the appropriate vocabulary and with special emphasis on pronunciation.
