About Nikita

As a native speaker and experienced tutor of Russian, I aim to give my students the best I have to offer in terms of cultural and linguistic literacy in Russian and post-Soviet language and culture. I have numerous resources at hand to get started with grammar for the very beginner students up to college-level literary analysis and conversational practice.

I take pride in my students' accomplishments, and see that they get the best instruction available. As a native speaker of Russian, I am very enthusiastic about teaching a part of my culture and allowing people from all backgrounds to access the richness of my language whether it be for professional, personal, or intellectual growth.

I also deeply appreciate the opportunity to open others to a world of great literature and culture that one can access via the lengua franca of the post-soviet world.

About the lesson

Lesson plans in accordance with your chosen curriculum, for grade school up to college level Russian language instruction. Open to conversational Russian lessons for practice, reading and writing comprehension for texts of all levels.

I have over 5 years of experience working as a professional translator for Russian texts, and have tutored undergraduate college students while studying at Columbia University.

My lessons are primarily for college level students but open to teaching students of all levels or first-generation children looking to get a grasp on the native language of their parents.
