About Harveen
I have been a primary school teacher for the past five years, gaining extensive experience across different year groups. During this time, I spent one year teaching Year 6, which provided me with direct experience of the curriculum and a solid understanding of the demands of the Year 6 SATs. This experience has equipped me with practical knowledge of SATs-style questions, assessment expectations, and effective strategies to support pupils in building confidence, developing their mathematical skills, and achieving success in their end-of-year assessments.

The intent of my maths revision lessons is to consolidate pupils’ understanding of the key curriculum areas, including number and place value, the four operations, fractions, decimals, percentages, ratio, algebra, measurement, geometry, and statistics. Through a combination of fluency practice, reasoning challenges, and problem-solving activities, pupils will develop confidence in selecting and applying efficient mathematical methods.
