About Cam
I'm looking for enthusiastic students to share my love of the sax with.
By day I work as a clinician in the NHS, but music will always be my first passion. I'm a multi-instrumentalist (piano, voice, clarinet), meaning I have a broad musical experience to bring to the table!
My lessons are relaxed and fun - I truly believe the way to make a beautiful sound is to love what you do. I have over 15 years' experience of performing jazz and classical music, but I'm more than happy to be guided by the music that interests you.
Whether you're a complete beginner or someone looking to improve their skills, I can guide you in developing your technique, repertoire and tone.
Whether you wish to progress formally through the music exam systems (ABRSM, Trinity) or just want to play for fun, I hope I can help to shape you into the musician you want to be.

My lessons typically last an hour, and will be entirely guided by you. Typically we will begin with warm-ups and exercises (I promise, all those scales will pay off!) and will then spend the bulk of the lesson exploring the repertoire that interests you most. I like to work with my pupils to set goals, which will help to guide our lessons together.
