• Designed and executed a research project on carry-over effects of brain plasticity in the Oriental fire-bellied toad (Bombina orientalis) through manipulation of the visual field and analysis of pre- and post-metamorphic sensory brain regions.
• Prepared a novel description of the developmental staging of B. orientalis through extensive review of current literature on indirect anuran developmental stages.

• Assisted in field work examining avian diversity across farmlands with various levels of ecosystem restoration in southern Ontario.
