About Elise
I have a BA degree in Chemical Biology from Case Western Reserve University. I spent four years as a graduate student in a pharmacology program conducting neuroscience research, before moving on to be a neuroscience research technician at a well-reputed North Carolina university. I am actively involved in teaching in my role as research technician, as I manage a collection of microscopes and I am responsible for training new users on each microscope.

I make sure to explain concepts and problem solving in a clear and concise way so you can truly understand and master the material. I'm a visual and hands-on learner myself, so I reach for drawing on a whiteboard to help explain concepts. I have experience with all ages, but I have the most experience teaching high school and early college.
