About Poppy
I hold a degree in Architecture and have worked both in academia and in professional architectural practice for several years. My passion for architecture stems from the endless creative possibilities it offers, and I believe in sharing this excitement with my students through hands-on learning. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of teaching students from diverse backgrounds, helping them bring their visions to life while providing them with the technical skills needed to thrive in the field. I’ve had the opportunity to guide students on everything from small-scale residential designs to larger commercial projects. My teaching style blends creativity with practical knowledge, helping students understand both the artistic and technical elements of architecture. I encourage my students to think critically and push the boundaries of design while grounding their ideas in solid architectural theory. Outside of teaching, I continue to engage with the architecture community through various projects and collaborations. This allows me to stay updated on the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in the field, which I incorporate into my lessons.

With 8 years of experience in architectural education, my lessons cover a comprehensive range of topics, from fundamental design principles to advanced architectural systems and sustainability in architecture. Students will explore design concepts, spatial planning, and the technical aspects of building structures, ensuring they gain both creative and technical expertise.
The approach is project-based, encouraging students to develop their own designs while receiving detailed feedback on their work. Emphasis is placed on integrating sustainability into every project, teaching students how to create eco-friendly and energy-efficient designs. By using real-world examples and case studies, students can see how architectural theory is applied in practice.
Lessons will cover key software tools like AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp, which are essential for creating professional-level architectural designs. Each session includes step-by-step instructions to help students master these tools while applying their knowledge to their projects.
By the end of these lessons, students will be able to conceptualize and design architectural projects from scratch, equipped with the necessary skills to succeed in the field.
