I am a second-year science student majoring in chemistry, and my tutoring approach focuses on clear explanations, preparation, and real understanding. As a student who uses tutors myself, I understand what is genuinely helpful and the ability to adapt to students' needs.
I teach by breaking down chemistry and maths concepts into logical, manageable steps, focusing on why concepts work rather than going through the motions. I adapt explanations to each student’s learning style using worked examples, diagrams, and guided practice, and I encourage questions throughout the session. Additionally, I can prepare worksheets and am always available for questions.
When possible, I prepare in advance using the student’s course material. A typical lesson includes a brief review, step-by-step explanations, practice problems (if provided) with feedback, and a short recap with time for questions.
What sets me apart is my perspective as an active university student who understands current course expectations and common challenges. My lessons are suited for high school students in chemistry or general science courses and maths. With an emphasis on clearer explanations and stronger problem-solving skills.
