About Kauai
Hi, my name is Kauai Wilson! I am a second-year honors college student at ASU. I graduated high school in 2025, with a 4.39 GPA. After high school, I went on to work with young children between the ages of 2-10 years old as well as tutoring high school freshmen. I am committed to the idea of "learning how to learn" because it gives students the confidence and curiosity to continue learning beyond the classroom. I know what it's like to feel frustrated when learning a new topic, but it is never impossible.

I believe in the philosophy of "learning how to learn". I first give a pretest to my students to assess their level. Then I introduce various learning styles to my students to see what sticks, and how they feel most comfortable processing information. From then on, we will set learning goals together and break down and process topics based on their specific needs. I typically work with preschool aged children to young teens entering high school.
