About Abbie
I am a second year university student. I want to teach as my sister has just completed her GCSEs and I enjoyed helping her with her revision and filling gaps in her learning. I love to see that my work has paid off. I was shy during my GCSEs so I understand that people don’t always want to ask their teachers for help, so I am hopeful that I can support students and they can feel comfortable enough to ask me for help so they fully understand every topic.

As a student, I always found it hard to focus when teachers would just talk and I would have to listen. However, many of my friends preferred that. We all have different learning styles and I tailor my lessons towards the learning style of the student. I like to take an interactive approach to maintain engagement and maximise retention.
