About Megan
I’m a passionate young teacher in Canada who understands the learning gaps many students can face throughout their educational journey. I’m here to provide personalized support, encouragement, and guidance to help every learner strengthen their literacy skills and become more confident ELA learners.
As a second-year elementary teacher trained in the Science of Reading, I’m passionate about creating a positive learning environment where students feel supported, capable, and proud of their progress. I believe that with the right strategies, strong foundations, and a little encouragement, every student can grow into a confident reader, writer, and critical thinker.
My goal is to meet students where they are, build on their strengths, and help them discover that they can succeed in literacy

Every student learns differently, which is why my lessons are tailored to the individual needs, strengths, and goals of each learner.
I focus on building strong literacy foundations through research based Science of Reading practices, while helping students develop the skills and confidence to become independent readers and thinkers. Lessons may focus on phonics, decoding, fluency, comprehension, vocabulary, spelling, writing, or a combination of skills depending on what each student needs.
My goal is to help students not just read the words, but understand how reading works, think critically about what they read, and develop strategies they can use independently.
Together, we'll build strong foundations, celebrate progress, tackle challenges, and help your child evolve into a confident, capable, critically thinking, decoding superstar!
