About Ashar
At my high school, I am the leader of the Math Club, where I spend a lot of time engaging with individuals who are struggling with mathematics.
I also work at Kumon as a Math and English Tutor
I love explaining mathematical concepts, and there is nothing more pleasurable for me than someone understanding a mathematical concept that they did not understand before.

My approach to teaching mathematics is to focus on the concepts that underlie mathematics. Rather than memorizing formulas, I believe that if one truly understands the math behind those formulas, one would have a higher chance of succeeding in math class in the future.
These lessons would primarily be for younger students in elementary school, but I can also work with high school students if required. Rather than viewing mathematics as something terrible that I have to do, I treat it as a challenge or a puzzle that I have to solve. I hope my students can also feel the same about math and its study.
