About Kathleen
The buzzing sound of muted strings often creates frustration for new players. Imagine your fingers landing perfectly on the neck to produce a clear and resonant chord. We will tackle power chords and blues progressions using the skills I gained during my 13 years gigging in Montreal.
My 12 years of experience allow me to break down tricky fingerpicking techniques into manageable steps. I include a practice module with every lesson to keep momentum high for my students. We will also cover tuning and maintenance to keep your gear in top shape. It is truly rewarding to hear a student finally play a song they enjoy.

Do you find yourself stuck when trying to master complex barre chords? I started as a self-taught player before moving into the professional chanson circuit 8 years ago. Teaching adults and hobbyists has been my focus for 12 years now. I have worked with 344 students to help them gain confidence on the fretboard.
My methods combine music theory with practical skills like strumming patterns and reading tabs. I am patient with those returning to the instrument after a long break. Music remains a constant part of my life.
