About Sbongile
I am a mathematician passionate about teaching mathematics and assisting learners to have better understanding of Mathematical concepts. My highest qualification is Master of Science in Mathematics education. I have been teaching Mathematics in Grade 8 to 12 for more than 20 years. I am currently teaching Grade 10, 11 and 12. I inspire learners to approach mathematics with confidence and be open minded.

Mathematics is a language taught using another language. Majority of learners are struggling to understand this language. My methodology is enforcing the understanding of mathematical language and its application. I use differentiated instruction approach as my teaching method which caters for the diversity of learners. My lesson move from definitions, examples of that concept, application to typical exam question. I use English as my medium of teaching. My target group is Grade 7 to Grade 12.
