About Faisal

I am a Creative Director, Motion Designer and educator with over 15 years of professional experience across motion design, advertising, broadcast, digital products and creative technology. I have worked on projects connected with international brands and platforms including Wondershare Filmora, Disney, National Geographic, Discovery and CNA.

Alongside my industry career, I have taught at university level, mentored students and young professionals, conducted workshops, reviewed creative work and served as a jury member for art and design institutions.

My teaching combines professional practice with academic experience. I focus not only on software skills, but also on creative thinking, visual communication, design principles, problem-solving and the standards expected in the industry.

Whether you are a student, graduate, career changer or working designer, my goal is to help you develop stronger skills, better creative judgment and work that is genuinely industry-ready.

About the lesson

I teach Motion Design from a real-world industry perspective — not just how to use software, but how to think, develop ideas, solve visual communication problems, and create professional-quality work.

With 15+ years of experience across motion design, creative direction, broadcast, branded content and digital products, I have worked with projects and brands including Wondershare Filmora, Disney, National Geographic, Discovery, ESPN and others. I have also taught at university level, mentored creatives, conducted workshops, reviewed student work and participated in professional juries.

Lessons can be adapted to your level and goals, covering After Effects, motion principles, visual storytelling, typography, composition, pacing, storyboards, styleframes, 2D/3D workflows, AI-assisted creative workflows, portfolio and showreel development.

A typical session can include learning a concept, reviewing references, working through a practical project, professional critique, and clear next steps.

My lessons are suitable for students, interns, recent graduates, junior designers, career changers and working creatives who want to become more industry-ready, strengthen their portfolio, or improve the quality and thinking behind their work.
