About Winnie
As a former high school student with a busy schedule and a passion for music, I hope to encourage young students to hone their musical talent while performing well in school. My lessons are designed to make students feel confident in themselves and want to learn. I stay away from the traditional 'conventionalist' method of teaching where students are forced to learn, instead of building the curiosity to learn themselves. Students and their parents often thank me for allowing their children and/or teen feeling confident and reassured after each lesson.

Strategically planned lessons to engage young students and reward them based on hard work. You can request what kind of speed you want your child to learn, and I can adapt.
A typical lessons looks like:
- 5 minute icebreaker and warmup
- 15 minutes: introducing new concepts
- 15 minute piece study and practice
- 10 minute theory applied lesson
Total of 30 minutes- 1 hour
Often described by current students and parents as :engaging, fun, kind, and well-mannered!
Lessons targeted towards students ages 4-12, hoping to improve their musical talent.
