About Michael
I am a native Chinese tutor and the author of this series of Chinese learning books, all of which were written by me and published in Canada. Over the years, I have taught numerous non-Chinese-speaking students from diverse backgrounds, helping them develop practical skills in speaking, reading, and writing Chinese. Drawing on my extensive teaching experience, I designed these books specifically for adult self-learners, providing a structured and effective pathway to mastering Chinese within a year. In addition to the books, I offer private lessons to guide students through the learning process and help them achieve their language goals more efficiently.

This six-book series is designed as a structured introduction to the Chinese language for adult learners who wish to study independently. The program aims to help dedicated learners develop practical speaking, reading, and writing skills within one year of consistent study.
