Whether you are an adult looking for a new hobby or a student aiming to master electric technique and lead guitar, we will focus on reading tabs or sheet music alongside your preferred style. I draw on my BM Popular Music degree to ensure you understand the theory behind the strumming patterns and rhythm. My 11 years of experience ensures that we do not waste time on things that do not help you reach your goals. I enjoy keeping the vibe chill and encouraging throughout our time together.

Teaching music is not about showing off, it is about making the instrument feel like a natural extension of your own body. I earned my BM Popular Music degree to better understand the mechanics of sound, and I have spent 11 years sharing that knowledge with kids, adults, and intermediate learners. My students range from French learners who want to sing chanson to serious guitar students learning Québécois folk styles. I have taught 100 students, and each person brings a different struggle to the table.
It is incredibly rewarding to see someone realize that a difficult chord progression is actually quite simple once you break it down into smaller parts. I love that I get to play a role in someone's musical development. Seeing a student finally find their groove is the highlight of my day.
