About PRATEEK SINGH
My name is Prateek Thapa, I am originally from Nepal and have recently moved to Canada this past year. I have traveled around Asia (Nepal, China, Malaysia, and all over India) to perform in bars and cafes but also for private events as well as parties. I love reimagining other people's songs, and people say I sound like Ray Lamontagne meets Jason Mraz, with a sprinkle of Plain White T's. I am writing and composing my own songs as well as building my cover repertoire. Music is my number one passion and I feel I have a lot of knowledge to share.

I offer lessons for guitar and voice in a variety of genres, including pop, rock, classical, jazz and more.
I can offer a personalized lesson plan based on your skill set that includes:
- music theory for guitar & voice
- reading and playing songs (guitar tablature, musical notation etc.)
- incorporating looping & pedals in your performance
- improvising on the guitar
- recording basics
- vocal exercises & warmups
- basic music production in Ableton
I am available for lessons online and in person. Whether you are a complete beginner or intermediate, we can work together to help you achieve your musical goals.
I also specialize in Indian styles of music, including classical, Bollywood, and Nepali music for both guitar and voice.
