About Brenda
I am a trained Personal Assistant with a passion for teaching. I have 30 years of skilled experience in organisation, office administration, data capture, diary planning, project management, front office management and switchboard. I am also trained as a transcription typist (5 years experience).
I am a born artist. I love creating functional art from recycled products, i.e. newspaper woven baskets. I am very focused and goal driven and I take pride in teaching people whether it be a craft, language or technology. I love meeting new people and I prefer to look at the lighter side of life.
I home school my 12-year-old daughter and find it pleasantly challenging to make the lessons fun and easy to understand.

I like to teach through practice. I will demonstrate the processes and equipment that you will require to make your functional newspaper woven baskets and give you the opportunity to practice and discuss the problems that you might be facing in your learning process, giving you tips on how to overcome obstacles.
I have been newspaper basket weaving for 2 years now and I have successfully taught over 15 students in my town.

If you need to cancel your appointment, I respectfully request at least 48 hours notice. My Policy: Any cancellation or reschedule made less than 48 hours prior will result in a cancellation fee. The amount of the fee will be equal to the cost of 1 hour of my time, being R180.
