About Paulo
My name is Paulo, I'm 45 years old, born and raised in a small town in Portugal. I started skateboarding when I was 13 years old, was one of the first skaters in my town and later I got sponsored by Real Skateboards Ams competing at the top level amateur and professional category in the Portuguese Skateboarding League. I got several top 3 places, I was on the front page of one of the first skateboard magazines in Portugal, I was part of some skateboard programmes on tv. I stopped skateboarding for a while due to professional reasons and I am now back since the beginning of the first lockdown last year (2020). I skate mainly street skate, skateparks and I've got also a good understanding and experience on mini half and half-pipe. I can speak English, Portuguese, Spanish, Czech/Slovak and I've got a good understanding of French and German Language as well.

I want to be your Skateboard Coach whether you're looking for individual or group classes. Due to the experience, understanding, methodology and motivation I have about skateboarding I have been successfuly helping others to improve their passion, motivation and skills on their boards. I can exemplify how most of the tricks are done because I know how to do them. I can also help with suppIying the best videos regardless of your level so that you can watch them as an additional support.
LESSON INSURANCE COVERAGE UP TO £3,000 INCLUDED .
Skateboard not included - if you don't have one for your first lesson, no worries. You'll use mine and I'll advise you on what to buy.
Protective equipment not included - if you don't have it yet, I'll advise you on what to buy.
I use the DMAIC methodology to approach each individual or group:
D- Define - define together with the individual/group what are their targets
M- Measure - measure their actual skills and experience
A - Analyse - I'll analyse the outcome of the observations I've made in the previous steps and I'll create a plan accordingly.
I - Improve - During this phase is where all the fun will start and the plan comes to action. If needed I can also go back and make adjustments to the original plan.
C- Control - Maintain the consistency, control the improvements and seek perfection.

Paulo is not only the person with the ability to teach you skateboarding, but the person who will also teach you commitment and endurance. He will teach you how to skate and will introduce you to the skateboarding culture leaving you more passionate than ever!! You can not miss on him!!
Paulo is a skateboar legend!!! I know Paulo for a very long and I remeber see him kicking it. Nowadays I know some people who used to skate and they still talk about Paulo as a kind of an idol/reference, I can see in people eyes the joy they talk about him, and that's a lot of respect, a beautiful thing to see and to listen.
Recently I saw some Paulo's videos rolling and he still rocks!! He is gonna be a hell of a teacher!!
