About Dieu

I've been in Software Development for the past 15+ years developing new software as well as providing support for existing software. Over the years I've gained extensive knowledge and skills in computer programming. I have worked as a Senior Developer for about 10+ years.

I have two degrees from Western University, graduated in 2003 from the Computer Science, and Computer Engineering undergraduate programs.

I have some experience in tutoring. In university I tutored a computer science student in C++ (2002). In 2004-2005, I tutored a high school student who had a learning disability who was also failing their class, and in the end, the student passed.

I have a passion for helping others using the knowledge I have, and so tutoring allows me to do just that. I love seeing those I tutor get through the problems they have encountered, and finding out that they can do it!

About the lesson

From those that I’ve tutored, they’ve shared with me that they appreciated my patience. I’m a very patient, and friendly person, and I think that helps a lot when teaching others. I'm not judgemental at all. I teach as I would want to be taught, with friendliness and patience.

In the sessions I provide, I'll cover whatever you need help with. It's best to send me what topics you think you will need help with in advance.

NOTE: I do not do in-house sessions, I will only do sessions at a public library, or over webcam.

I will not do your assignments for you. If that is what you are looking for, please look elsewhere. I am a tutor to help you get the assignment done yourself, learn as you go, and earn the marks yourself. That way you can be proud of what you've accomplished in the end.

Travel cost will vary. I'm thinking as long as there is free parking, and it is within 5km of where I live, I can waive the travel fee.

If online doesn't work for you, I can meet you at a public place. I'm not comfortable doing sessions at your home.
