About Kavitha

Hello! My name is Kavi and I am a software graduate with many years of experience in tutoring. My full-time job is being a software implementation consultant for a corporate company. Sometimes fun, sometimes not. Initially, teaching children was a hobby. I was introduced to children of my friends and family in order to give support with their homework. Soon after, I had begun to schedule lessons during my free time and prepared worksheets/lesson plans and activities. Promptly, I had more children requesting sessions with me which allowed me to become confident in pursuing this as a part-time job. My aim is to make every lesson as useful but also as enjoyable as possible as I want my kids to WANT to come to me, not because they are forced to. I was previously a teaching assistant for work experience which had helped me develop my skills and knowledge on how/what is taught in class. I am mobile therefore I will be able to take lessons at home/within a 7-mile radius. As you have probably guessed, I am new to this website, I wish to meet and have a great rapport with new students and their families. Hope to hear from you soon!
