About ASL With Paige
I am a sophomore college student studying to be a special needs teacher for the early childhood years. I have had a passion for teaching ever since I was in the 2nd grade! It is one of my goals to make learning fun, and enjoyable, as well as teaching things that are applicable to life. I will never stick you in front of a book with the expectation of you memorizing.
I have had hearing aids since I was 4 years old, and recently got a cochlear implant. I had an ASL interpreter for 5 years before I started homeschooling. I have used ASL and it has been a very large part of my life for about 11 years now.

Learning ASL is a literal hands on experience-- I will provide fun activities to learn as you go, making it fun to learn but also helping engrain everything in your brain! ASL can be easier to learn as you are exercising your muscles daily-- helping develop that muscle memory, which over time makes everything that much easier to absorb, learn, and remember! These lessons can be for anyone and starts at a beginner level-- you don't have to have any prior knowledge :)
